Wow, where do I start

It has been a LONG time since I blogged last, I've been a really bad blog keeper lately. With the holidays and working = no free time for me. BUT, here goes - one month in one post!!
Thanksgiving!!
We celebrated at the Chapman's (our tradition). The food was yummy and the company was great. We played a couple of rounds of bingo then headed outside to play with the neighbor's horses and run/walk off some of our food.

We discovered Annagrace loves Red-Velvet Cake

(a true southerner - hehe)

And who doesn't love "horsies" and high flying. Feeding the horsie was another issue. Annagrace was excited and wanted to hold the carrot. But, when the horse came over to actually take a bite, her smile started to look a little more like worried than happy.

Cousin Conner

Then last week, we tried to do a fun creative photo shoot with Annagrace for this year's Christmas card. Unfortunately it gets dark WAY too early and they didn't turn out so great. But, she still looks adorable so I thought I would share ...

We also attended Caden's Birthday party last week. We had fun feeding the ducks (throwing bread AT them), collecting sticks (and poking me in the eye in the process), and of courseCAKE

But, little Miss did not dive right in like the boys. She politely took the decorative stick out of the cupcake and used it as a spoon to eat tiny bites of icing. While the boys tore trough 2 or 3 cupcakes a piece, she barely ate half of the icing on ONE.

SCORE BOARD!!

is what the drunken Falcon's fools yelled at us as we cheered for every amazing first down. Broncos were only down by three points and there were still 10 mins on the clock. The third down came ... EVERYONE was on their feet making as much noise as possible to confuse the Broncos, Cutler threw the ball and it was CAUGHT ... the the ENDZONE! Within two seconds the Falcon's fans drooped back into their seats and we were the only ones left standing, jumping and screaming!! It was amazing! Ending score 24-20!!

This game made me wish that we lived in Denver and could go to every home game. To be surrounded by thousands of common fans must be such an adrenaline rush.

On Nov 8th ...

We headed out to Cheddar's to celebrate GG's 88th birthday! Tristan helped entertain Annagrace during the wait for our table.
She was an angel child all through dinner. She is almost always a good child, but meals can get frustrating for her - that's a lot of time being strapped into a chair. But, she was excellent!

Many talents ...

This girl is also a pianist and a baker!!

Little Rock Star

Annagrace loves to sing and every singer needs a microphone. While at Grandmother's she decided a candle stick would make do. Her latest performances include dancing and singing her ABCs, Popcorn Popping, and Rock-a-by-Baby. Tickets for the next performance will be for sale shortly.

bubba bath

every lady's bath must include "bub-bas"

On November 19th ...

WE WENT TO NURSERY!!!!
I can't believe she is old enough to go. On one hand . . . I was so sad that she is actually old enough to be in nursery, but on the other hand . . . I finally got to hear the lesson in Relief Society!! She learned about the Stripling Warriors and "I am Honest"

Bird Feedin' Fun

We went to a play date at the Botanical Gardens and made this lovely bird feeder. Well ... actually I made the bird feeder (surprise, surprise). I tried to hand the peanut butter to Annagrace and asked her if she wanted to put it on the pine cone. She quickly drew back against the wall and with a disgusted look on her face said "NO!"
I had planned ahead - packed a full coverage bib, an extra outfit, and an apron for me to avoid the inevitable mess from this craft. And my little "mini-me" wouldn't even touch the stuff! I LOVE IT!! Of course I want her to have fun and dig into a new project, and she does at times. But, I love the moments when my genes creep in and messy things disgust her. After I finished the pine cone we took a walk around the gardens to check out the new sculptures.
We both had a great time.

HALLOWEEN '08

We started off the day with the Brookstone Carnival. Annagrace, and her costume, were the rage! Everyone pointed, ohhed, and ahhed at how cute she was. We took a break and had a snack on the sidewalk.
She loved Minnie Mouse!Later that night we headed out to Pine Mt. for a Trunk-or-Treat. Annagrace won BEST COSTUME for the 0-3 year olds! And she got an adorable teddy bear as a prize.A Dog Eatin' A DogThis is Tyler's beautiful pumpkin. We all sat down together on the kitchen floor a few days ago and started the pumpkin - the gutting part. But, Tyler was the carving master. Annagrace loved it!She completely pooped out on the way home.
