Ward Easter Acitivity

Wheat grass center pieces
First we did a raw egg toss.
Then played Red Rover!

finally . . . the egg hunt!

Cute Baby Will

After the activities, we ATE!
Well I learned a HUGE lesson today: Wear the kids out with a running activity and they will sit STILL to eat!!! All Ward activities will now contain a running game!

Eggtastic

In preparation for our ward Easter activity, we dyed over 2 dozen eggs.
WOW!! It's Pink!

We had a blast, they turned out beautiful, AND we get to do it all over again next week.

Baby Shower

A few of my co-workers had a baby shower for me last week. They are all so sweet and so much fun to work with. They are the reason I love my job.

7 weeks

I can't believe we are almost there! Only 7 more weeks until Emmalee is here. I'm busy nesting away and trying to make the most of every moment with Annagrace as an ONLY child. And, while I thought she was an Angel child and we skipped right over the terrible twos . . . I was wrong, so so wrong! It finally hit this last week. She switches from wonderful happy child to holy temper tantrum in 2 seconds flat. We've discovered naps help a little with keeping the tantrums to a minimum, but we still get little ones that make me wonder: "What happened to my child? Who is this?" I'm hoping this is a VERY short term thing. I don't know that I can do a newborn and tantrums at the same time!!!

Our Weekend Getaway

We headed to Grandma Betty's this weekend and had a blast as usual. We took a couple walks on the beach, ate out, went swimming in the heated pool, went shopping, and played putt-putt. I like going when it is still cool outside, we are actually forced to leave the beach and go enjoy the other activities the beach has to offer. And due to my new seafood allergy we tried a couple of new restaurants.
Our reviews: Ciao Bella Pizza in Sandestin was great - especially their Bruscetta!! and the German place at Pier Park (I don't remember the name) was only so-so. I was really excited to have a good schnitzel, but I could have made the same thing at home. Tyler pointed out, they probably aren't known for their food and if you saw the size of their beer mugs you'd agree!
Annagrace loves her Grandma Betty and soaked up every minute of her undivided attention.
