Ready. . . Set . . . GO

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me!
My choice. For you.
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It’ll be done this year. {Translation: you may be waiting a little while}
4. You have no clue what it’s going to be … it may be cards, a poem, a bookmark, something yummy or a complete surprise to you (and me!) … Who knows? Not you, that’s for sure
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
6. Most importantly, you must offer the same deal on your blog - the first 5 people to comment on your blog (or if you do not have a blog, facebook) get something made by YOU! If you’re not the kind of person that wants to make something tangible for others, how about some kind of service for them, any type, any size...

Good Come-backs

(Sorry, these are for my own failing memory's sake)

Yesterday
Candi: Annagrace, do you want some crackers?
Annagrace: No, I picking nose.

Today
Candi: Breakfast is ready. Get in your highchair.
After several moments of desperately trying to climb up and in. . .
Annagrace: It's too big Mommy. I'm too small.

Candi: Oh, your cough sounds bad and your nose is running. Should we call the Dr.?
Annagrace: No monkeys on the bed!

Candi: Do you want a sandwich for lunch?
Annagrace: No! Granddaddy cookie (oreo)
Candi: No, you can have a cookie after your lunch
Annagrace: Please Mommy just one? (with her eyes squinted, smiling, and one finger pointing up)

Also, at this point she can almost sing the entire alphabet alone and knows the following shapes:
circle, square, triangle, octagon, star, heart, pentagon, rectangle

Fun Times

Aunt Carol came down again last weekend and brought an early Birthday present for Annagrace. She is now completely outfitted to be a gardener. (If only her Mommy liked gardening we would be in business!) I'm really looking forward to this spring when we can go outside and play (and maybe, just maybe, work in the garden).Baby Will was blessed yesterday, he is so cute! After Church we enjoyed homemade lasagna and yummy cake at John and Angie's house.

Nick and Jesse Bettes were here for the blessing. Their son Davis is 2 1/2 and so much fun. Annagrace fell in love with him instantly and they were best buds, running, screaming, and playing all afternoon. In this photo, they are lined up on the edge of the rug, just waiting for me to say "GO!" so they could race across the room.

From her mouth . . .

Annagrace has started picking up on emotions lately. A week or so ago, while watching Mickey, Pluto was feeling left out and pouted his way back to his dog house. With tears in her eyes, Annagrace turned and said "Pluto?" Her cute little lips puckered out and tears rolled down her plump cheaks. She felt so sorry for poor Pluto. She cheered up two mintues later when Pluto was okay again.
And today, I was looking down at my lap when I heard "What's wrong Mommy?"
I looked up half smiling: "What?"
Annagrace: "What's wrong Mommy?"
Me: "Nothing is wrong Annagrace. I'm okay."
She smiled and went back to eating her cheese.

She just cracks me up all of the time. I really need to keep track of all of the cute things she says. She remembers EVERYTHING and it amazes me how long things stay in her little brain. Just yesterday, while in the car, my Mom said something about GG. Annagrace turned to her cousin and said: "Tristan, GG is in the hospital, she's sick"
Me: "No, Annagrace, GG is all better, she's at home now"
Annagrace: "Tristan, GG is at home, Wienne is in the hospital, he's sick."
Me: "Yes, Wienne is in the hospital."
(Wienne is my Great Uncle who IS in the hospital, she goes to visit him with my Mom on the days that I work. And GG was in the hospital and they visited her as well.)
I think I might start a list in the side bar of the cute things she says, for my own sake. I have the worst memory.

Baby Will

I also had the joy of photographing this little cutiepie!

What's that????

I have an insanely silly, crazy daughter?? Believe me, I know!! Here's the proof . . .

We made cupcakes for the Superbowl. She thoroughly enjoyed them.We had to break down and actually buy her a kids meal for the first time. We went to Red Robin and decided that a dinner of french fries wasn't the best option. So, chicken fingers for the babe!Grandma Betty came up for a visit and we exchanged Christmas gifts. We had a very nice weekend of shopping and eating out. We are looking forward to visiting Grandma Betty in March, at the beach! During the weekend Annagrace got a little confused and instead of calling her "Grandma Betty" or just "Grandma" she started calling her just "Betty." It sounded so funny this little tiny person saying "Betty, come on. Let's play tea party, Betty"Unfortunately, GG has been sick and in-and-out of the hospital. Annagrace went often to cheer her up. The glasses just made her laugh even harder. We took a carriage ride while we were waiting for a table at Country's. She loved it, waving and saying "hey" to everyone we passed by.
Annagrace has been on a "Wanna go swimmin" kick lately. She even dug out a swimsuit the other night and demanded we go swimming. So, we did . . .in the bath tub.We were excited to have BabyWill (and Angie) join us on his first trip to Olive Garden.

He slept through it though. Lovin' some fried chicken.Aunt Carol came for a visit this past weekend. And joined us on our Valentine's photo shoot.
