Remember when ...

I thought I would give this a shot ...
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

I remember the first day we met. Heather and I walked into church timid, as it was our first week there, and you came right up to us and introduced yourself and invited us over for lunch the next day. It was AWESOME. Then we made it a habit of hanging out at least once a week and doing playgroups and then it turned into just you and me crafting days. I miss you - I have no one here to craft with.

I remember the first time I saw you. i arrived at the Atlanta air port all nervous about meeting you. and I come out of the plane and you where not there well I ride up the log escalator and you where not there so I sat and waited and i contemplated flying back home until there you where rushing into the airport wearing a yellow shirt with overalls and I knew than that I had made the right choice in staying. That same feeling id the same one that I got when you said yes at the Methodist church and the day you came running out of the house to tell me that we had been blessed with a baby and who can forget holding your had and they lifted up Annagrace but my favorite memory is looking into your eyes on April 7 and taking you as my wife.

Wow-you have a sweet husband! =) I remember seeing you at church before I met you and thinking that Annagrace was such an adorable little doll all dressed up in her pretty dresses! And I remember how much Max loved playing at your house and trying to see Lucy through your back door. Thanks for being such a great friend!

i have 23 years of memories... there's no way i can pick just one!! my favorite high school memories of us involve laughing at "clueless" more times than i can count (including the many rewinds of the falling-off-the-bed scene!), munching on cookie dough, cruising in the mustang, sneaking in wendy's frosties in-between photography outings, and having the unspoken understanding that we would have a sleepover at your house every saturday night. but my favorite thing about our friendship is that even though we've had very different experiences since high school, we still continue to make memories- like meeting tyler for the first time, laughing 'til we cried after our little "adventure" when you came to see me in athens, being the maid/matron of honor in each other's wedding, and sharing the excitement of annagrace's baptism. you're more than a friend to me- you're family. i look forward to seeing how many other memories we'll build over the next 23 years!
