trying to catch up

I'm trying to catch up this blog. And for my own sake, I post them on the date they happened not when I actually get around to posting it. But, this past weekend was amazing and I can't wait to catch up to post about it.

Animal Kingdom

 Ready for the adventure!

The tree animals were beautiful and every time you looked you could see a different hidden animal.

Finding Nemo The Musical was great and both of the girls loved it. It was a condensed version of the Broadway musical.

The puppets and props were amazing.

The spinning dinosaurs. The front seat could control the tilt from front to back and the back seat controlled the height. I feel bad that Emmalee slept through the whole thing. 

The Safari!! We were so looking forward to this part of the park. We chose Animal Kingdom because of Annagrace and Emmalee's love of animals. Of course, Emmalee slept though the whole thing.

While the other giraffes were eating from the trees, this guy decided it wasn't worth it and went for the barrel.

The dinosaur ride was THE BEST!! We took Annagrace the first time and she closed her eyes for half of it. Later that night, Tyler and I went back and rode it twice without her.

We had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. It was a little pricey but TOTALLY YUMMY!

They couldn't resist the light up cups.

We had desert later, the best ice cream sandwiches EVER!

Magic Kingdom

We started out the day at our hotel breakfast buffet.

 The girls ate up!

Finally HERE!!!

Sweet sister hugs - just so excited.

 As soon as we got in, we decided to do autographs and photos with our favorite characters.

 Emmalee could not stop hugging Minnie and Mickey, she was so happy!

Then we went to the Princess room and were trilled that our three favorites were there: Ariel, Belle, and Cinderella. The Princesses were so sweet and took up so much time with the girls (and all of the kids).

Our very first ride: the carousel. 

The Tea Cup ride. Tyler got it spinning so fast that Annagrace lost control of her body and her head slapped against the cup. She was a little dazed but was able to walk away. In Tyler's defense, Annagrace kept asking him to go faster and faster, he was just trying to fulfill her wishes.

Emmalee, who was sleeping, and I, with a baby in my belly, sat this one out. I also took the chance to slip away and get a frozen lemonade while they were in line. It was the BEST drink I've had since I got pregnant (nothing tastes right when I'm prego).

Buzz Lightyear was one of our favorite rides. The cars have guns on them and they keep track of your points.

Last item of the day:

After such a fun day, Emmalee fell asleep while we were still in the park and Annagrace fell asleep in the car on the way back to the hotel. Due to the holiday weekend, they had extended hours at Magic Kingdom. So, after we tucked the girls in bed with Grandmother, Tyler and I headed back to the park to try to fit in a few more rides that we didn't have time to do or were too scary for the girls. We also did a few favorite rides over again and again.

We closed down the park. Seriously, I needed a drink and there wasn't a single place open to get one!
