PJ Day

Today is a lazy, stay in pajamas, no shower, hat on my head, stay at home and blog day. So the following are just random pictures of the crazy little things that happen throughout the day. I guess we have found where her lizard tongue came from . . . like father . . . like daughter!

Peek-a-boo! Straight out of the bath cute, cuddly, and clean. My new favorite scent - clean baby! My favorite time of the day is bedtime. No, not because I am about to put her down and actually have time to myself, I'm talking about our routine. I love giving her a bath, mainly because she LOVES it so much. I wash her and then sit her up in the tub so she can kick and splash as much as she wants. Then she gets wrapped up tight in a towel and whisked away to her beloved changing table where she coos and talks while I diaper and dress her in cute pink pajamas. She has her hair brushed and we are off to the rocking chair, pacifier, blanket, and warm bottle in hand. Most nights she is asleep by the time her bottle is empty. I hold her for at least 30 minutes just because I want to. Then the most important, the most critical part of the bedtime routine is when Daddy carefully takes her out of my hands, kisses her goodnight, and transfer her to her crib.
