Day #6 - Final Day

Nana and Papa took us to Utah's Hogle Zoo
We all enjoyed the choo-choo train!

We stopped by Training Table for lunch and then headed down to Chuck's house so we could start driving back to GA!
(I'm actually really upset with the photos from this day. They are all grainy b/c they were all SO dark. I had to do some extreme lightening to them. I don't know what happened - if Annagrace played with the camera or what?? It was in Auto all day, in the bright sunlight yet all of the pictures are almost BLACK!)

Day #5

Downata Hot SpringsThis pool is awesome! It is filled from the hot springs so the water is like climbing into a bathtub!

Then Flags West for dinner. Flags West is a truck stop and the only restaurant in Downey. Of course it is greasy and DELICIOUS!

Saying good-bye to Todd, Kim, and Reese

We love you and miss you!! Annagrace asks about Reese every day and anytime we are going somewhere she asks "and Todd and Kim and Reese too?" It so sad and cute! Can't wait to see you in October!
(Sorry about this picture, it's post-swimming time, but it's the only one with the four of us together.)

Day #4

The girls enjoyed some reading while we drove down to Logan for a day of shopping. We picked up some craft supplies and some fun new goodies for the girls as well.
Like sidewalk chalk

and kites (thanks to Uncle Thomas they actually made it into the air)

our little fairy princess
For dinner - we headed to a group cook-out at the park.
We enjoyed the park equipment while waiting for the food.

And even watched a little of a kick ball game.

Day #3

After church, Annagrace passed out in Thomas' arms.
Playing after dinner.
Annagrace discovered a jar of cars and politely asked Nana if she could have one. Of course, she was allowed to have them all. So, she put them in the bowl so she could access them easier. We found out that these are the same cars her Daddy played with when he was a little boy.

Day #2

We drove up to Grandma's house in SLC and waited for Nana and Papa to get there. Nana had no clue that we were coming, It was a great surprise!! (it's on video, I'll add it later)
Then we headed up to Brigham City and visited with Grandma Welch. She had delicious fried chicken and lemonade that Annagrace couldn't get enough of!
When we finally made it to Idaho, Thomas, Todd, Kim, and Reese were all waiting for us!
These two girls were so cute together. We hadn't seen them since last summer when Reese was just a baby.

Annagrace decided that the empty planter box was her new trampoline. And, of course, Reese had to jump in as well!
Checking out Papa roasting our marshmallows.
Bath Time!
Once they were wet, you couldn't tell who was who from the back! We had never realized that they have the exact same hair color.
And we later realized that they have the same eye color! How crazy is that? Neither Todd or Kim have blue eyes! Those are some deep down genes coming though.

Day #1

We arrived at Chuck's house on his birthday. So, we were able to celebrate with everyone!

On the Road

Annagrace did really well in the car. Neither Mom or I got much sleep though. As soon as we would dose off, she would need something!

Brain Surgery??

Nope just a bump!
Annagrace fell and hit her forehead this weekend. I tried to put an ice pack on the bump but she wouldn't keep it there very long. So . . . Tyler went and ace-bandaged it to her head! We were all laughing so hard (Annagrace included) we couldn't talk. I barely got the photos before he took it back off. Her eyes are actually open in these!

BTW - the bump went away!

Don't you know . . .

All the best Pianist play in the nude!
(So, I showed some co-workers this cute photo and they all said I would be put in jail for it!! So, I had to censor it. Not as cute . . . but you get the point!)
While I'm at it, let me introduce you to my new baby - my Wurlitzer. It was my Anniversary, Birthday, and Mother's Day present all in one. I LOVE it! I always said I wanted a piano in the house by the time she was two. And we were only two months late!
(I've just taken a while to blog about it.)
