The next morning we went to the Donut Hole for breakfast, then relaxed in the afternoon, until time for the "Sip and See"

The "Sip and See" was another excuse for everyone to get together again and just have time to relax and chat. The wedding day was so busy, Laurie and Ryan didn't really get a chance to talk to everyone.

Afterwards, we went back to our Condo and did some family beach pictures.

The BIG Day!!

The day started off with a bridesmaid's brunch at Chip and Janet's beach house. It was hosted by Janet and her three sisters.

Then we were off to the beauty salon, to get our hair done.

Friday morning Betty treated all of the Bridesmaids to a mani-pedi.
After the rehearsal everyone, and I mean everyone, went on the Lady Anderson Dinner Cruise. It was all fun until they asked me to give a roast/toast for Laurie and Ryan. I had to come up with something within 15 minutes. Heather tried to help, she gave me a good embarrassing story to tell about Laurie.

It was a very fun night.

First Night in FL

The first night at the beach we stayed at "Mom" Betty's house. The only rocking chair was on the front porch which was fine with Grandmother, that's where she camped out for the first day.

We went for a walk on the beach bright and early the first morning. Annagrace is that little bump on my belly, I didn't want any sun to hit her, so she kept on her long pajamas and a huge sun hat and then we tucked her into the Snugli.

Ellene is Annagrace's Great-Grandma so we are going to call her GG.

Annagrace's middle name originated from her. I was named after her, and Annagrace was named after me. We have three Ellene's now. We just pray that I and Annagrace will be as patient and kind as the original.

Mother's Day

After Annagrace's blessing, everyone came back to our house for a cookout and to celebrate Mother's Day. We also celebrated Laurie's Birthday (which is on the 14th).

Annagrace was blessed today, on Mother's Day. (My first Mother's Day) It was so sweet, we were so happy that so many people made the trip to be here for it. Tyler's parents came from Idaho, Carol came from Conyers, Laurie came from Athens, David came from Eufaula, and my parents, Aunt Brenda, Uncle James, and Alex came from Harris County. It meant so much to have everyone there.

Warm Springs

We took off to Warm Springs today. Mom loves Warm Springs, the old homes just "sing" to her. We had lunch at the Bullock House and did a little shopping downtown. Mom made a new friend at "Nana's Porch." The owner said there was an open position for Dad at the local school and a house for sale just around the corner. Mom was ready to pack up and move down that minute.

We went to Athens for Laurie's Vet School Gradutation - she is a DOCTOR now!! It was also the first time Laurie has seen Annagrace. They looked so cute together. (Laurie is going to be a cute Mom someday)
